We are pleased to announce the joining of two new Board Members to the EuroBSDCon Foundation. We would like to welcome Guido van Rooij as our new Treasurer, and Philipp Buehler as a Member! We are also excited to announce that we will be enhancing our collaboration with AsiaBSDCon moving forward.
It is also announced, with a heavy heart, that Kristof Provost has retired from the Board in September 2022. We thank Kristof for his significant contributions to the Foundation, not just as our former Treasurer, but as a key organizer and leader for our systems, outreach and events. Thank you Kristof for all that you’ve contributed during your leadership since 2017.

It is with great disappointment that we were forced to conclude it is not possible to run the conference as usual. As such, there will be no EuroBSDCon 2020. There will be no virtual conference, as we feel we can’t provide much in that area not already provided by BSDCan. We hope to resume our conference next year. We will try to announce the relevant dates as soon as possible.

While the EuroBSDCon 2013 is approaching and a EuroBSDCon 2014 location will be announced in Malta, the EuroBSDCon Foundation is already looking forward to 2015 to make sure we also will have a country in which the EuroBSDCon 2015 will take place.
The main reason to start looking now is that we want to allow the 2015 team to be involved with the EuroBSDCon foundation early on to get up to speed on how an EuroBSDCon is organised. If you are interested in hosting the EuroBSDCon 2015, please contact us at our contact page.
